Traveling With TEMBO

In January, Project TEMBO in Canada took five people on a cultural and project tour,
and a safari in northern Tanzania.
Below are some photos that tell the story of their African adventure.

The travelers arrive - all shiny and clean - after a long frlight from Canada.

Cindy with two twin Maasai children in Kimokouwa.

John being warmly welcomed by Mama Farajah who playfully claimed him as a husband.

Rose is catching a sunrise shot over the Ngorongoro Crater.

Everyone sampling some roasted goat meat in the bush outside Paulo's boma in Kimokouwa.

Cindy experiencing some traditional healing for a headache.

Sylvia comforting an infant inside a pitch-black hut.

John and Carol Ann teaching the Canadian National Anthem to Samwel at the conclusion of the TEMBO Guesthouse ground breaking ceremony.

Rose and Sylvia stop for a photo - not a beer -

at the Vatican City Bar on the main strip in Longido.
